Terms of Service
Last updated: March 1, 2026
1. Who these terms are with
ReSchool is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], registered at [REGISTERED ADDRESS], CIN [CIN / REGISTRATION NO], GSTIN [GSTIN] (“ReSchool”, “we”). These terms form the agreement between ReSchool and the institution that subscribes to the platform (the “School”), and they also govern individual use of the platform by the School's staff, students, and guardians.
2. Acceptance
By using ReSchool, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, you should discontinue use of the platform. Where a separate signed subscription agreement exists with the School, that agreement prevails over these terms to the extent of any conflict.
3. Service scope
ReSchool provides cloud-based operational software for school administration, academics, communication, finance, and related workflows. Which modules are available depends on the plan the School subscribes to, as published on our pricing page.
4. Accounts and eligibility
- Keep account credentials secure
- Report unauthorized access immediately
- Maintain accurate institutional and user information
- Accounts for staff, students, and guardians are created by the School; the School is responsible for who it grants access to
- Students below the age of majority use the platform through accounts provisioned by the School, with parental or guardian consent obtained by the School
5. Acceptable use
- Do not use the platform for unlawful purposes
- Do not attempt unauthorized access or disruption
- Do not upload malicious code or prohibited content
- Do not misuse data belonging to other institutions
- Do not use the platform to send communication that the recipient has not consented to receive
6. Data and ownership
Schools retain ownership of their institutional data. ReSchool processes that data as a processor, on the School's instructions, to deliver and support the service — see our Privacy Policy for what is processed and on what basis. ReSchool retains ownership of the platform software itself.
7. Fees and billing
- Subscription fees are charged per plan at the amounts published on our pricing page or as set out in the School's order form, in Indian Rupees.
- Monthly plans are billed each month in advance; annual plans are billed for the full term in advance.
- Applicable taxes, including GST, are charged in addition unless the order form states otherwise.
- Payment processing is handled by our payment provider. Fees for a plan are due whether or not the School uses every included module.
- Price changes are communicated at least one billing cycle in advance and apply from the next renewal.
- Access may be suspended for accounts that remain unpaid after written notice.
8. Cancellation and refunds
- A School may cancel its subscription at any time by giving [NOTICE PERIOD] written notice to the contact in section 14.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. The service remains available until then.
- Fees already paid for the current period are [REFUND POLICY FOR THE CURRENT PERIOD]. Amounts paid for periods after the effective cancellation date are refunded on a pro-rata basis.
- Where a plan is downgraded mid-term, the difference is applied as a credit to the next invoice rather than refunded, unless the order form states otherwise.
- Refunds, where due, are returned to the original payment method within [REFUND PROCESSING TIME] of approval.
- No refund is due where an account is terminated by us for breach of section 5.
9. Availability and support
We operate the platform with monitoring, backups, and scheduled maintenance procedures; maintenance may occasionally affect availability and is announced in advance where practical. Any service level commitment is [UPTIME COMMITMENT] and applies only where it is stated in the School's order form. Support channels and response targets depend on the subscribed plan.
10. Suspension and termination
Either party may terminate per the notice in section 8 or for material breach that remains uncured after written notice. We may suspend access immediately where continued access poses a security risk or breaches section 5.
11. Data export after termination
Following termination, the School may export its data for [DATA EXPORT WINDOW]. After that window, data is deleted or anonymised in line with the retention section of our Privacy Policy.
12. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, indirect and consequential liabilities are excluded. Total liability is limited to the fees paid under the applicable period, unless otherwise required by law. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bangalore, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction.
14. Contact
Legal and billing inquiries can be sent to [email protected], or by post to [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], [REGISTERED ADDRESS].
